How Trade Worthy Ltd ("Tradeworthy", "we") collects and uses personal information — on this website, when you book a call with us, and when we answer calls and take enquiries on behalf of a trades business.
Last updated: [date]. Version 1.
1. Who we are
Trade Worthy Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17376267, registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. We are the data controller for the information described in sections 3 and 4 of this policy. For the information described in section 5, we act as a data processor on behalf of the trades business you called.
Questions about this policy or your information: privacy@tradeworthy.co.uk, or write to us at the registered office above. [If registered with the ICO: our ICO registration number is ZXXXXXXX.]
2. The short version
- This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising.
- If you book a call, we use what you give us to arrange and hold that call, and to follow up about Tradeworthy. We don't sell it or pass it to anyone else for their marketing.
- If you ring a trades business that uses Tradeworthy, we take your enquiry on their behalf and pass it to them. They decide what happens to it next; we keep it only as long as they need us to.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
3. Visiting this website
We collect no personal information from simply visiting the site. Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and to keep the site running; these are held for [30 days] and not used to identify individuals.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See our cookies page for the full list of third-party requests the site makes.
4. Booking a call, or contacting us
What we collect. Your name, business name, trade, the area you work in, mobile number, email address, team size, preferred call times, and anything you type in the notes box. If you email or phone us instead, we collect what you give us in that message or call.
Why, and on what basis. To arrange and hold the call you asked for, to send you a written summary and a price afterwards, and to follow up about Tradeworthy if you've asked us to. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you started, and — for follow-up messages — the consent you gave on the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying "stop" to any message or emailing us.
Where it goes. Form submissions are stored in our enquiry-management system, provided by HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel), which hosts data in [the United States / EU region] under [standard contractual clauses / the UK International Data Transfer Addendum]. We also use [email provider] for email and [telephony provider] for calls. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long. If you become a customer, for the length of the relationship and six years afterwards (for accounting and legal records). If you don't, for [12 months] after our last contact, then deleted.
5. Calling a business that uses Tradeworthy
Trades businesses use Tradeworthy to answer their phone and take enquiries when they can't. If you call one of them, you're speaking to a service operated by us on their behalf. That business is the data controller for your enquiry; we are its processor and act on its instructions.
What we collect. Your name, phone number, what the job is, where it is, when you need it, and anything else you tell us that's relevant to the enquiry. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so that the details can be written up accurately and passed to the business; you'll be told at the start of the call if that's the case.
Where it goes. The written enquiry is sent to the trades business you called, by text, email or messaging app, and stored in their enquiry-management account with us. The business may use it to call you back, quote for the work, and follow up if they don't hear from you.
How long. As long as the trades business instructs us to, and in any case no longer than [24 months] after the enquiry unless it becomes a job. If you want your enquiry corrected or deleted, contact the business you called; we'll help them do that, or you can contact us directly and we'll pass your request to them.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy; correct anything that's wrong; delete it; stop using it, or restrict how we use it; give it to you or another organisation in a portable format; and stop sending you marketing. You can also object to our processing where we rely on legitimate interests.
To use any of these, email privacy@tradeworthy.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Security
Information is stored in systems with access controls, encrypted in transit, and available only to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we'll delete it if we find we have.
9. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is significant and you've booked a call or are a customer, we'll email you.
